Browns clients needed a design for a custom horse barn and a smaller utility building incorporating the detailing and rustic look of a small horse shelter they had seen on the website. This custom horse barn will shelter 2 horses as well as allow for storage of up to 8 tons of hay. The utility building is standard construction but the barn is a post and beam structure. The exterior wall and roof framing for the barn is exposed to view from the interior.
The foundation is a concrete caisson and grade beam system. This is a steel reinforced grade beam that integrates with the caissons.
